TGS – the power pack for construction and heavy-duty work

It is of particular use on the building site, for transporting heavy loads or for short-haul and distribution transport. For the engines, you have the choice between new, efficient engines with MAN PURE DIESEL® technology* or you can opt for the powerful engines with SCR technology with MAN AdBlue®.

    The choice is yours: either the new Euro 5 EGR engines with the straightforward MAN PURE DIESEL® technology* without additives with a specification ranging from 320 to 480 HP or SCR technology equipped with MAN AdBlue® with powerful engines ranging from 480 to 540 HP.
  • Various drive formulas for 18-41 tons
    With the TGS you have optimum traction for every soil condition. Whether on the building site, on the road or on a slippery road surface. With the various drive formulas, for example all-wheel drive or MAN HydroDrive®, you can handle every requirement.
  • Innovative technologies
    MAN TipMatic - automatic mode - allows for reliable and economic use.
    MAN HydroDrive®, the front wheel drive which can be switched on, provides additional traction on the building site.
  • Economical with sophisticated aerodynamics
    4 % more favourable drag coefficient (Cw) reduces fuel consumption and decreases driving noise by 30 % compared to its TGA predecessor.
  • EEV in urban operation
    Especially for municipal vehicles and use in short-haul and distribution transport, the EEV engine offers the freedom to enter inner-city low-emission zones.
