What is Fleet Management?
Quite simply, MAN Fleet Management removes the headaches of Vehicle Administration: On-line.
It is a combination of software systems that MAN Truck & Bus UK provides to help customers manage their fleet more effectively. The product focuses on improved VOSA Compliance, and Vehicle Performance.
There are 2 main elements:
Document Management Database
- Records and stores all vehicle's legal documentation for each individual truck e.g. V5, MOT, Road fund license
- Stores, records and prints all PMI and Service documents
- System automatically monitors inspection cycles and alerts when documentation is Due, Overdue or Completed, via E-mail

- Helps operators to be fully compliant with latest VOSA requirements
- Provides instant access to key vehicle data at any time
- Removes a huge paperwork burden
- Improves communication between customers and workshops
Vehicle and Driver Reports
- Total of 132,000 tractor units on the UK roads
- Between them they cover 11.2 billion miles - every year!
- This is a total consumption of £6.5 billion worth of diesel
- Giving off approximately 13.6 million tonnes of CO2 - which would fill 2.8 million Olympic swimming pools!
